This year, the Archicapella neighborhood choir will not perform a summer concert, but a late summer concert: it will take place on 12 October in the Ichthuskerk Duinkerkse straat  11. The concert starts at 8 pm and the hall doors open at half past seven. The concert has a striking title: Dum Tak! The Rhythm of the Mediterranean . Tickets can  be ordered here .

The choir sings songs from countries around the Mediterranean — not only music of European origin but also from areas to the east and south of the world’s largest inland sea. Archicapella wants to bring to life a kaleidoscopic sound world of polyphonic choral singing framed with authentic instruments from the region. It promises to be a music festival with an extremely diverse signature: a multilingual collection of intriguing Romanesque, Slavic, Greek, Hebrew and Arabic music. See here more info.
