Artists from 9 to 79 years old perform during the first one at Open Podium.

Sunday, May 26th, St. Barbara Cemetery opens its chapel for talent of all ages. The registrations have come in. Danique, participant of The Voice Kids, will sing, nine-year-old Luna will perform with her violin and city poet Pol van der Laan has signed up. The performances will take place between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Binckhorst and are organized as part of the national Weekend of the Cemetery.

A varied program
The program is varied. Young talent sings or plays the violin, various singer-song writers play their songs and more experienced musicians play a number of classical songs. Certainly no ordinary funeral music. You are very welcome to come and watch and listen to the various performances. Afterwards, we will offer you a tasty snack and drink.

Open cemetary days
Almost a hundred Dutch cemeteries participate in the Weekend of the Cemetery on 24, 25 and 26 May 2019. During these open days, cemeteries throughout the country give visitors a warm welcome and organize various threshold-lowering activities such as a tour or a concert. This includes The Hague cemetery St. Barbara, St. Barbaraweg 6, Den Haag.
