Green conservation Archipel & Willemspark??
these beautiful trees gone??
What is going on:
A project developer wants to build 18 new homes on the parking lot of the Balistraat. These houses come to an underground car park that becomes so wide that the existing houses are damaged, trees and vegetation are killed and even these 2 beautiful chestnut trees of about 100 years old are killed.
The current site is completely crammed with 18 connected modern houses of over 6 meters high. A dramatic plan that affects the cultural-historical value of our beautiful Archipel area. With the front of a house close to your backyard, the privacy is seriously affected and the view of the gardens of the Koninginnegracht is replaced by a glass wall of 95 meters long !!
There is only one car lift for 60 cars. That means traffic jam when entering and leaving. After a few days of waiting you just park in the street in the Surinamestraat, Javastraat, Koninginnegracht and Balistraat. A fear for the local residents; even fewer parking spaces !!
Local residents find it a bad plan
Your support will be asked to get the plan off the table and you can fill this out via the following website .
