Sustainable living is more fun, easier and more something for you than you might think. Sustainable The Hague organizes the Hague Energy Fair on Sunday 26 November: the sustainability fair of The Hague. “The Energiebeurs is a party every year, a very nice day to come with your family. There are tasty snacks, and there are fun things to do for your children, for example plastic printing with a 3D printer. It is a good opportunity to find out that sustainability is more fun, easier and more something for you than you might think. For example, discover how easy you can save 300 euros with very simple things like smartly dealing with your heat and electricity in your own home. “- Heleen Weening, Sustainable The Hague Director
Be inspired and go to work immediately with all the tips and handles that the residents and business initiatives offer you on Sunday November 26th. The Hague Energy Fair is subdivided into the following 5 themes; living, eating & drinking, urban gardening, transport and lifestyle. There is plenty to discover on every theme. Taste delicious organic snacks, do a free energy scan, marvel at the Solar go-kart and get to know the sustainable initiatives in your neighborhood. There are also fun activities for children; do your own sustainable house, make an awesome artwork of waste or visit the theater show ‘Plastic Soup’.
The Sustainable The Hague Foundation is now organizing the Hague Energy Fair for the 6th time, with the aim of inspiring as many residents as possible from the city to start working sustainably in and around the house. Last year that was successful, more than 8000 visitors came, who valued the fair with an average of 8.
